As an IT Manager, you’ll be responsible for handling IT infrastructure support and services, including desktop applications, system operation and server support. You’ll contribute toward research, development and the implementation of new systems and upgrades. In addition to this, you’ll monitor trouble shooting, system back-ups, archiving and recoveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the ICT solutions are always fully functional and maintained to the highest standard (e.g. SharePoint administration and development, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Laptop, Desktop and prereferral hardware setup and configuration
  • Printer and VOIP Cloud administration
  • Azure Cloud backups
  • Manage the IT processes for new/departing employees
  • Support on a daily basis all global internal stakeholders in their use of the organisation’s business technologies, including several cloud based solutions, through face to face, telephone, email or online interactions as appropriate
  • Manage relationship with IT outsourcer
  • Develop, implement and review PL’s IT strategy
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external users and stakeholders
  • Develop and report on KPIs to measure the performance of IT systems and online services
  • Install and configure Windows based desktops and laptops, iOS and Android based tablets and mobile phones with focus on cloud connectivity
  • Install, configure and administer printers and scanners
  • Plan, organise and execute regular maintenance and updates of internal systems, services and applications, applying best practice and maintaining the highest levels of security, data integrity and resilience of systems and solutions
  • Maintain records of hardware and software assets and licenses, consumables and other supplies
  • Manage and maintain good quality, accurate documentation on the ICT infrastructure, including for purposes of business continuity and risk management
  • Take the lead in the design and ongoing development of the technical environment, including the proposal of new solutions and technologies.
  • Front end development support of PL website
  • Management of 3rd party vendors
  • Take responsibility for Hardware purchases
  • Ensure compliance of our internal systems to GDPR regulation
  • Administration Management for: Webex, Hipchat, Docusign, Adobe Cloud, Qualtrics
  • Agile project management for Trello/Kanban and IT Projects

Key Attributes, Skills and Experience

  • This role is most suited to someone with 3 – 5 years industry experience
  • Administration level certification for Windows10 and Office 365 is essential
  • Previous Experience working with Office 365 Exchange
  • The IT Manager will be the main point of escalation for support issues and therefore it is imperative that your technical skills are current & live and that you want to remain in a hands-on capacity
  • Previous IT management experience
  • Excellent customer service/ communication skills
  • Good knowledge of hardware and software of the appropriate systems, to include but not limited to Microsoft Office and Windows, LAN, Printers, iOS Smartphones & Broadband
  • Experience building and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint
