Research & Content Analyst

This role is critical in developing market-leading thought leadership to engage with world-class Chief Procurement Officers and their teams.  Procurement experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn more,  take a hypothesis, conduct research and then create and deliver engaging content is essential.  If you want responsibility for owning research projects with big business impact and to directly engage with the leaders in the procurement field, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Insight Generation

  • Lead research workstreams to create thought leadership and high-quality insights for our members
  • Follow a research process (hypothesis generation, inductive and deductive reasoning), and lead primary and secondary research to develop a fact-base to form objective insight—this may take the form of written, audio, visual content – including recorded, and live face to face interactions
  • Participate in Procurement Leader’s content strategy to further refine user profiles and develop a roles-based content strategy

Market Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between the market (members and prospects) and the product team. Share feedback to inform product development and positioning
  • Deliver presentations and content at member events, conferences, and member organizations in-person or remotely
  • Respond to client requests, either or written or verbally and support commercial teams to renew and close new business
  • Represent Procurement Leaders insights with the industry-specific and mainstream press

Key Attributes, Skills, and Experience

  • Ability to come up with a hypothesis, test it and then create engaging content
  • Solid experience in conducting qualitative research interviews either face to face or on the telephone is essential
  • Experience of delivering content and presentations either in-person or remotely
  • Experience in both primary and secondary research methods
  • Ability to use quantitative research methods
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable business and commercial acumen and thought leadership
  • A strong communicator through written and spoken word
